Lauren St John grew up on a farm and game reserve in Zimbabwe, the inspiration for her multi-award winning White Giraffe series and her memoir, Rainbow’s End. After studying journalism, she became a sportswriter for The Sunday Times. She is the author of several books on sports and music, including Hardcore Troubadour: The Life & Near Death of Steve Earle; and the multi award-winning White Giraffe series.
